International Donor Services Officer (IDS Officer)

Willing to work in Iloilo

  • Maintains coordination with the National Sponsorship Unit in implementing the Sponsorship Program.
  • The use of the DSapp system to monitor child and sponsorship data.
  • Monitors sponsorship data and distribution and acknowledgment of letters and parcels from the international sponsors in the Children’s Villages.
  • Communication with international sponsors through the National Office, updates and writes stories of sponsored children for Mid-Year letter and facility story/ report for year-end letters.
  • Writes reports for Children’s Villages for various international communication
  • purposes.
  • Shooting of videos and photos for digital content.
  • Facilitates sponsor visits.

 

  • A graduate of mass communication, marketing, management, or similar.
  • Work experience with children and youth in child development in an international
  • NGO is an advantage.
  • Has the ability to take initiative, multitask, prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Experienced in handling information and database system.
  • Strong command of the English language, both for written and oral communication.
  • Preferably with previous writing experience.
  • Knowledgeable in using digital cameras and editing videos and photos.

Program Officer

Willing to work in Muntinlupa

  • Responsible for project concept development and writing proposal to access grants and corporate funding.
  • S/he will provide effective and efficient technical support in the planning, programming, implementation, and monitoring of projects. This includes designing and packaging care catalogs, preparation of reports required by donors, maintaining donor relationships, documentation of projects results and learning, and tracking of project budget utilization.

 

  • Graduate of Social Science, Community Development, Business Management, or related discipline
  • Desirable: With Certification as Project Manager or advanced university degree
  • 3-5 years experience in project development and management
  • Expertise in proposal development (lograme, budgeting, narrative)
  • Proven records of successful projects and experience
  • Knowledge of right-based approach, gender development, and inclusion principles in a development setting.
  • Critical and analytical thinking demonstrating capability in resolving program issues.
  • Fluent in Tagalog and English both oral and in writing.
  • Desirable: Familiar in any dialects where the 8 program locations are present

SOS Aunt (Care Provider)

Willing to work in Bataan or Muntinlupa

  • Aids the SOS mothers in the care and development of the children.
  • Substitutes the SOS mother in her absence.
  • Gives support to mothers who need special assistance with their children.

 

  • Must be 25 to 40 years old
  • Preferably a graduate of any 4-year course. Can be at least high school graduate.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Preferably has experience in housekeeping and caregiver for 2 years.

Village Director

Willing to work in Iloilo or Tacloban

The position holds a delicate part of an NGO's activities and forms its structural core. The holder of the position warrants the effective project management and implementation of all projects in the children’s village and ensures responsibility for location expenditure, financial accountability, and planning requirements, and provides a high level of support to these activities.

 

  • Preferably, with higher education in program management (Program Management certification); a graduate of tertiary education (4 year college course) is required.
  • At least ten years of working experience in managing programs in related area, five years of which in leadership capacity
