Corporate Relations Coordinator

Willing to work in Muntinlupa

The Corporate Relations Coordinator is providing assistance in managing succesful relationships with corporations and organizations; generating donation to ensure annual income targets are achieved

  • Collaborates in the day-to-day operations of Corporate Relations Unit for the efficient operation of the team
  • Coordinates with corporations/organizations and keeps quality engagements before, during and after receipt of donations
  • Handles various fund sourcing organizations and match-giving platforms
  • Represents the organization in external engagements including corporate events, networking, partner appreciation events, and similar activities
  • Facilitates volunteering activities and employee engagements
  • Handles employee-giving campaigns for both smalls groups and individual donors
  • Coordinates with the Programmes Development Department in delivering requests and requirements of corporate donors including product development, project proposals, grant application, project reporting, and youth engagements
  • Collaborates with the Communication and Creative Services Unit in creating corporate kits, collaterals, marketing materials, campaigns
  • Works closely with FD Coordinators and CV focal persons in matters related to corporate fundraising and volunteering engagements
  • Maintains social media presence and mileage of corporate partners
  • Monitors and updates the database of corporate partners and donors
  • Safeguards documents and keeps records accordingly
  • Adheres to and upholds the standards and principles of Child Protection Policy and Code of Conduct to ensure the reputation of SOS as a child-care organization and in respect to the fundamental rights of all persons.
  • Performs other tasks that may be directed by higher authorities as necessary for the smooth and continuous operations of the unit

 

Requirements

  • Graduate of Tertiary Courses; At least 2 years’ experience
  • Ability to work in fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Willing to work in Muntinlupa
  • Can start immediately
  • Percentage of accuracy of all data processing and reporting tasks

Program Officer

Willing to work in Muntinlupa

  • Responsible for project concept development and writing proposal to access grants and corporate funding.
  • S/he will provide effective and efficient technical support in the planning, programming, implementation, and monitoring of projects. This includes designing and packaging care catalogs, preparation of reports required by donors, maintaining donor relationships, documentation of projects results and learning, and tracking of project budget utilization.

 

  • Graduate of Social Science, Community Development, Business Management, or related discipline
  • Desirable: With Certification as Project Manager or advanced university degree
  • 3-5 years experience in project development and management
  • Expertise in proposal development (lograme, budgeting, narrative)
  • Proven records of successful projects and experience
  • Knowledge of right-based approach, gender development, and inclusion principles in a development setting.
  • Critical and analytical thinking demonstrating capability in resolving program issues.
  • Fluent in Tagalog and English both oral and in writing.
  • Desirable: Familiar in any dialects where the 8 program locations are present

SOS Aunt (Care Provider)

Willing to work in Bataan or Muntinlupa

  • Aids the SOS mothers in the care and development of the children.
  • Substitutes the SOS mother in her absence.
  • Gives support to mothers who need special assistance with their children.

 

  • Must be 25 to 40 years old
  • Preferably a graduate of any 4-year course. Can be at least high school graduate.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills.
  • Preferably has experience in housekeeping and caregiver for 2 years.

Village Director

Willing to work in Iloilo or Tacloban

The position holds a delicate part of an NGO's activities and forms its structural core. The holder of the position warrants the effective project management and implementation of all projects in the children’s village and ensures responsibility for location expenditure, financial accountability, and planning requirements, and provides a high level of support to these activities.

 

  • Preferably, with higher education in program management (Program Management certification); a graduate of tertiary education (4 year college course) is required.
  • At least ten years of working experience in managing programs in related area, five years of which in leadership capacity

Youth Educator

Willing to work in Bataan

  • Monitors the educational performance of the youths
  • Conducts individual and group counseling sessions
  • Enroll our children in their respective schools
  • Assist our college students in their educational concerns
  • Attend school meetings or other school-related matters

 

  • Must be a graduate of BS Secondary Education, BS Psychology, or any related
    course
  • Must have good interpersonal relationship skills
  • Essential: At least 2 years of experience as an Educator or any related experience in the same industry (Child Care NGO)
  • Desirable: At least 1 year of related experience in Program Development;
  • License in Education or Psychometry
  • Proficient in English and Filipino.

Youth Mentors (3)

Willing to work in Davao or Bataan

  • Mobilize volunteers and coordinate with youth leaders and care professionals
  • Establish a youth hub and manage youth hub resources
  • Assess, select, and enroll youths qualified for Technical and Vocational courses
  • Provide pre-employment and job placement support for youths
  • Prepare monthly updates, bi-annual and annual reports
  • Perform other tasks as needed

 

  • Preferably with experience in a micro-business startup or entrepreneurial experience.
  • At least with technical vocational training in business and prior experience working with youth.
  • A background in special education and developmental work is a plus.
