Senior Accountant

Willing to work in Manila.

  • Collects and analyzes deliberated budget from Budget Hearing and recommends correction.
  • Handles taxes and compliance processes.
  • Reviews and analyzes budget performance reports (variance analysis).
  • Reviews and validates the Journal Entries received from the Village Accountants in different village locations.
  • Accounts and prepares a report of accounts receivables and accounts payable,performs lapsing schedules and reconciliation to the NAVISION of property plantand equipment, reviews and analyzes year-end closing preparation, accruals andreporting, and reviews and finalizes financial reports.
  • Monitors bank balances, receipts and transfers, and prepares bank reconciliation.
  • Provides assistance and coordination with auditors for the needed information and data, reviews audit reports and financial statements.
  • Adheres to and upholds the standards and principles of Child Protection Policyand Code of Conduct.
  • Acts as the advisor to support the Village Accountants in different village locations carrying the tasks related to preparation & execution of the Budgets, preparation and submission of Financial Reports, and providing resolution onqueries related to Accounting and Controlling functions.
  • Performs other tasks that may be directed by higher authorities as necessary for the smooth and continuous operations of the department.

 

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant.
  • At least four years of working experience in the same discipline, two years of which in a supervisory capacity.
  • Work experience with children and youth in child development in an international NGO is an advantage.
  • With good work ethics and professional integrity
  • Must be willing to work in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa.

YouthCan Coordinator

Willing to work in Muntinlupa.

  • Serves as a focal point responsible for implementing, coordinating, and monitoring the YouthCan! youth employability program.
  • Works closely with the program locations, the corporate relations unit, and YouthCan! National Team to jointly develop the project concept and growth strategy.
  • Ensure youth participation in programme design i.e. baseline assessment, youth needs assessment, annual youth survey.
  • Coordinate preparation of young people and volunteers participating in activities(volunteers e-learning and onboarding of young people using youth friendly materials).
  • In collaboration with national child safeguarding advisor ensure safeguarding processes in connection with YouthCan!.
  • Work directly with the regional and global YouthCan! Team.
  • Administer the YouthLinks Community online platform on a country level: administrating communities, online mentoring programs, managing access of users, as well as monitoring progress.
  • Capacity building of SOS CV co-workers, young people and corporate partners on the use of the YouthLinks Community.
  • Ensure monitoring and evaluation of project activities against the YouthCan! results framework, in line with results-based management.
  • Performs other tasks that may be directed by higher authorities as necessary for the smooth and continuous operations of the department.

 

  • Must hold a bachelor’s degree related to development such as Sociology, Community Development, Project Management Development, ICT4D, or Programme.
  • With at least 2 years of project coordination experience in a related field of cooperation, development, child care organization, youth projects, ICT4D initiatives
  • Prior experience working on youth employability and/or entrepreneurship projects is required, as is cooperating with Project Managers for the delivery of projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other digital software/applications/tools.
  • Knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (both written and verbal)
  • Strong networking skill and planning skill is an advantage
  • Preferably with experience in designing innovative programme approaches and capacity building.

Senior Finance Co-Worker (CPA)

Willing to work in Muntinlupa.

FDC (Fund Development and Communication) Coordinator

Willing to work in Bataan.

  • Prepares monthly payables.
  • Accountable for the release of monthly payroll and family budgets.
  • Accomplish periodic (monthly and quarterly) government remittance reports.
  • Monitor cash flow.
  • Prepares financial statements.
  • Facilitate transfer of funds.

 

  • Must be a graduate of Accountancy/Financial Accounting or other-related course.
  • Knowledgeable in General Accepted Accounting Principles and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards.
