The 20th Spirit of Wipro Run, held on September 21, 2025, made a lasting impact on SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas, with proceeds directed to the Digital Village Project under the Family Strengthening Program. This project provides children and families with access to digital tools for education while enhancing families’ capacity to provide safe and supportive care.

SHAPE Project: Sowing the Seeds of Sustainability with the First Hydroponics Harvest

SOS Children's Villages Pilipinas celebrated the first harvest of its hydroponics initiative under the Allianz PNB Life SHAPE Project on September 20, 2025. The project, implemented in partnership with Turbulent Greenhouse, yielded 26 kilograms of fresh lettuce while providing valuable agricultural education to children, youth, caregivers, and retired mothers.

A Journey of Giving Back: Uncle Christian Empowers Children and Youth through Care and Mentorship

Christian Anthony Ilagan, 28, currently serves as a Youth Educator at SOS Children’s Village Bataan. From becoming a Licensed Professional Teacher in 2017, he has been part of SOS Children’s Villages Pilipinas for more than two years. Once a program participant, Uncle Christian now dedicates his career to guiding young people as they pursue their education and build their future. His story reflects the organization’s mission of empowering children and young people to grow with the bonds, care, and support they need to become their strongest selves.
