Typhoon Odette ravaged homes and communities in Central Philippines from December 16 to 17. The unfortunate event left thousands of families homeless and without livelihood. Here are some stories from families under our Family Strengthening Program in Iloilo. Them and more than a hundred more families need our help to rebuild their homes and start over.

In celebration of their 40th anniversary, SOS Children’s Village in Davao held a Virtual Concert last September 12, 2021. Even with the distance imposed by the pandemic, those who gathered to commemorate this event enjoyed the performances and shared the warmth of everyone’s company.

The children and young people of our SOS Children’s Village in Calbayog participated in Project SAFE, a program that teaches filmmaking to abused and neglected children to encourage healthy self-expression.
Entering the working world after graduation is an exciting yet daunting chapter in life. Youth fresh out of school need to prepare for many things and have many questions as they start their job hunting. As they encounter challenges while establishing their career, they would need all the support they can get, especially in the pandemic.

YouthCan!, a global mentoring program, has been officially launched in the Philippines through an online event last August 12, 2021. The event coincides with International Youth Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about issues youths face globally. And what better way to do that than inviting youths and stakeholders to speak up and discuss these concerns.
