Advocacy

We at SOS Children's Villages uphold and protect children's rights by participating in policymaking decisions. Along with other stakeholders, we work to promote children's rights by passing laws that improve child welfare. All children's rights must be enforced and upheld to ensure that every child can grow up to be their strongest selves.

Children's Rights

Children’s rights are laid out in international, regional, and national frameworks to establish the rights of every child. We work with states and partners to protect and care for children who have lost parental care by bringing the voices of children to the forefront of policy and decision-making.

Youth Participation

When children and youth are empowered to participate actively in decision-making in the community, they can contribute to shaping their futures and that of their communities. We listen to children and youth, and encourage them to participate actively in the decision-making process.
